| Three Decorah
High School seniors who have received academic all-state
recognition were recognized at halftime of Tuesday's
Decorah High School basketball game.
Matt Dovenberg, Robbie Jewell
and Andrew Peter were named to the 2009 Academic All-State
Football Team. The three qualified by being senior
starters on the football team; by having at least a
cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of their junior
year; and by being involved in other extra-curricular
activities.
Matt has participated in
National Honor Society, D-Club, Track, and Soccer. He is the
son of Dick and Marian Dovenberg.
Robbie has participated in National Honor Society, D-Club,
Basketball, Track, and Baseball. He is the son of Bob and
Paula Jewell.
Andrew has participated in National Honor Society, D-Club,
Choir, and Golf. He is the son of Tim and Sandra Peter. |
