Luther
men's basketball team loses to BV |
The Luther
College men's basketball team dropped a 52-43 decision to
Buena Vista University Saturday in Decorah. The Norse
led at halftime 30-25. In the second half the Norse
had trouble scoring points, but they still were within two
points of Buena Vista--43-41--with just a little over five
minutes left in the game. That's when the Beavers went
on a 9-2 surge to win the game.
The loss drops Luther's Iowa Conference record to 3-7.
The Norse men are 9-9 overall. Luther returns to
action at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday for a game in Indianola
against Simpson College. The contest will be carried
on KWLC 1240 AM and will also be audio streamed at
