Coe College women's basketball team jumped out to a 17-1
lead against Luther College on Tuesday night in Cedar Rapids
and the Kohawks never looked back, rolling to a 79-36
victory. Michelle Voigts was the
only Luther player to reach double digits, connecting on
5-of-9 attempts for 10 points.
The loss was Luther's third in a row and gives the Norse an
Iowa Conference record of 2-7. Luther is 7-11 overall.
The Norse will return to action at 2:00 p.m. Saturday when
they will host Buena Vista University. The game will
