| A strong second
half meant a victory Saturday for the Decorah High School
girls basketball team. The Viking held a 27-25
halftime lead, but outscored the Warriors 35-16 in the
second half to clinch the 62-41 victory.
The Vikings were led by Moran Lonning
with 13 points and Kelsie Larson with 12 points. Elly
Arend added 8 points.
Decorah now has 8 wins and 6 losses.
The Vikings will have a busy week this week, traveling to
Charles City Monday night to make up the postponed game from
Friday night. Decorah will host Prairie Du Chien on
Tuesday night, then will play Cedar Rapids Kennedy in Cedar
Rapids on Saturday. |
